What we collect

You can read every page on this site without creating an account or giving us any personal information. We do not ask for your name, age, school or email address in order to show you a solution.

Our own servers record, for each request: the page requested, the time, the browser type, and a network address. This is used to keep the site running and to see which pages are useful. We also record the words typed into our search box — without linking them to any individual — because searches that return nothing tell us which questions to write next.

Cookies and advertising

We set one cookie of our own, and only for site editors signing in to the admin area. Ordinary visitors are not given a cookie by us.

This site may display advertising supplied by Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies entirely; the site works normally either way.

Analytics

We may use a web analytics service to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages are read, from which country, on what kind of device. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify individual visitors.

Children

This site is written for school students and we expect younger readers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We do not ask any visitor to register, log in, or submit personal details. If you believe a child has sent us personal information — for example in an email — contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Because we do not operate accounts, in most cases we hold nothing that identifies you. Write to hello@lessonelearning.com and we will respond.

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
